3 Trends for 2011

This is a great read via WealthyBagLady.com.

1.   Collaboration vs. Competition

Who is your competition? You may want to call them up and do a joint venture with them. You’ll be surprised that many of them will be receptive. The new model is not being guarded about your proprietary information. Now people are sharing resources so that everyone will benefit.

2.   High-Content Live Events

I’ve gone to live events that are known as a “pitch fests.” The speakers give only enough information to tease the audience into buying their products. People demanded more quality and content in their events. Now speakers give real information and strategies people can use now. Events need to be entertaining, informative and have lots of networking.

3.   Sponsors Funding Real People

Can you believe the Tiger Woods debacle happened over a year ago? Now corporate sponsors are thinking differently about where they put their sponsor dollars. Instead of mega-celebrities, sponsors are giving more money to real people like you with strong core values.

We are in the age of over-deliver. Your sponsorship proposal needs to be a Win-Win-Win for everyone. Companies will be spending more money on sponsorships this year. Sponsorship is a great opportunity for you to fund your dreams.
